Fatigue is exhaustion after undergoing physical or mental activities. Having difficulty in concentration, dizziness, headaches, irritability, loss of appetite, lack of energy, lack of motivation, sore muscles, and moodiness are the common signs you are having a fatigue. 



Unhealthy lifestyle practices such as excessive alcohol intake, excessive caffeine drinking, excessive workouts, inactivity, poor sleeping habits, and unhealthy diet can cause you fatigue. 

It is also a common symptom to diseases and medical conditions such as; cancer, kidney diseases, heart diseases, liver failure, obesity, diabetes type 2, and thyroid disorders.


Here are some superfoods that you can eat to ease your fatigue. 

 1. Yogurt

Yogurt has rich amount of protein, carbohydrates, and probiotics all of which help in getting rid of fatigue symptoms. This is a fast source of energy for it is easy to digest by the body.

Bananas are high in potassium– a mineral that effectively converts sugars into energy. Fatigue-related symptoms could also be supplemented by banana’s healthy amount of the Vitamin B, vitamin C, Omega-3 fatty acids, carbohydrates, and fiber. 

 3. Oatmeal

Oatmeal is effective in fighting the symptoms of acute or chronic fatigue. It has carbohydrates that provide fuel to the body and the brain. Phosphorus, magnesium, protein, Vitamin B1 also helps in enhancing the energy levels in the body.

4. Watermelon

A slice of watermelon could help you regain your energy after an exhausting day or activity. This is rich in water and electrolytes that could prevent dehydration. Minerals such as lycopene, beta-carotene, iron, potassium, and Vitamin C could also aid in your fatigue. 

5. Green tea

Green tea has the power to reduce your stress and work-related fatigue. It has high levels of polyphenols that could lessen fatigue  while boosting your energy.
