Say Goodbye to your Stretch Marks Like You’ve Never Been Pregnant with these Natural Remedies
If you feel like there’s no hope of losing your stretch marks after giving birth or after losing weight, well, there are actually natural remedies that you could try to finally get rid of them.
1.. Exercise
Sit-ups and crunches tighten the abdominal muscles and help to reduce stretch marks. Swimming is also good for keeping the skin in shape.
2. Egg whites
Egg whites can help to strengthen the skin. Remove the yoke and beat the egg white. Apply it to the stretch marks and let it soak in for 15 minutes. Wash it off with some warm water and you’re done!
3. Aloe vera
This can also be used to visibly reduce pregnancy stretch marks. Simply rip open an aloe vera leaf and rub the gel on the affected skin. Let it soak in for 10 minutes and then wash it off.
4. Water
This is extremely important for our skin to keep its elasticity. Drink about 8 to 10 glasses of water each day to keep your skin smooth and your body healthy.
5. Sugar
Sugar can be used as a natural peeler. Mix 1 tsp of cane sugar with almond oil. Rub the mix on the affected skin and let it dry (it’s best to do this before taking a shower). Repeat this daily for one month and you’ll notice great results.
6. Cocoa butter
This is an unusual moisturizing cream that increases blood circulation and helps to reduce stretch marks. Massage some cocoa butter into the affected skin twice a day for three months.
7. Potatoes
Potatoes could help the skin regenerate faster because of tons of vitamins and minerals it have. Cut a potato into slices and rub them on your skin for 10 minutes. Let the juice soak in for a few minutes before washing it off.
8. Castor oil
Aside from stretch marks, you can also use it to reduce wrinkles and age marks. Rub some on the affected skin and wrap the area with plastic wrap (e.g. bum, legs, belly). Now lay a hot water bottle on the area to get even better results. Let the oil soak in for at least 20 minutes.
9. Tea tree oil
This is perfect for treating skin problems such as acne or stretch marks due to its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral properties. Mix some tea tree oil with some coconut oil and massage the mix into the affected skin. Let is soak in for 10 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.
10. Olive oil
Olive oil contains lots of antioxidants and nutrients perfectly fitted for treating skin conditions. Simply massage some warm virgin olive oil into your skin and let it soak in for half an hour.
