Kill Breast Cancer w/o Chemo in 11 Days

Many women suffer from breast cancer and most of them think of it as a death sentence they could never escape.

Apparently, scientists from Amsterdam discovered something that will provide hope to many and could save lives to thousands of patients.

Professor Nigel Bundred  presented at the European Breast Cancer Conference his research that states that a combination of some anti-cancer drugs could kill cancer in just 11 days, even without the aid of surgery or chemotherapy.  

These scientists have found out that combining Herceptin or also known as trastuzumab and Lapatinin can effectively destroy breast cancer in just 11 days!

The goal of the research was to use these two different drugs to battle against a protein that is called as HER2 or Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2, which is responsible in the division and the development of cancer cells.

Aside from leaving possible chemotherapy or surgery, one can also escape its side effects such as: hair loss, fatigue, and nausea.

257 women who are all HER2 positive breast cancer undergone the experiment where half of them were the control group that only received Herceptin, while the other half used the combination of these two drugs.

11{cee2002f739e7296570a1535f296f4aba2d6d38c2e845de34f2a289022b9ebe8} of those women who took the combination drug had seen no cancer cells remaining in just two weeks and about 17{cee2002f739e7296570a1535f296f4aba2d6d38c2e845de34f2a289022b9ebe8} of cases have tumors shrunken.

In order to compare to the control group, they had 0{cee2002f739e7296570a1535f296f4aba2d6d38c2e845de34f2a289022b9ebe8} with no trace of cancer cells and only 3{cee2002f739e7296570a1535f296f4aba2d6d38c2e845de34f2a289022b9ebe8} of them who have shown a drop in the size of the tumor.

Combining these drugs has extremely high beneficial effects in the case of treating breast cancer, and these findings may greatly contribute for a bigger change.
